The Topics in Health blog is a project of KUSP Central Coast Public Radio as part of our local coverage portion of the Health Dialogues program of California Public Radio.

KUSP produces short-form reports and long-form interviews to provide local coverage of health issues accompanying the monthly hour-long special from the California Report.

These discussions are organized and moderated by J.D. Hillard, KUSP’s Talk and Information Producer.

Health Dialogues is a program of The California Report from KQED with support from the California Endowment. Each month KQED produces an hour-long documentary about a particular health topic. Topics covered to date include domestic violence, risk, religion and health care. KUSP has received a portion of this support to create local coverage of health topics with particular emphasis on: work that expands KUSP’s ability to report and work that increases representation of Latino voices in our reporting.
